In memoriam, Jeff
Hanson (1978 – 2009). We miss you
dearly. ---------- SOUTHERLY just completed a new record set for release on February 19th,
2010 titled Champion Of The Noisy
Negativists. The band will be
hitting the road throughout North America and Europe in support of the
release. Preview “Trials” at the bands Myspace page. ALLELUIA, the new project from members of Southerly, are working on new material. Keep
an eye out for new tracks. S. BROOKS has been
spending time overseas living in Berlin and touring throughout Europe in
support of his recent solo debut Tertiary

project from Southerly’s
Krist Krueger, is currently working on new demo’s which will be available
soon via the projects Myspace page. JEFF HANSON will hit the North American roads this spring after a Scandinavian tour
in March. He will be on the east coast
in April as well as the western and Midwest States in May. He is supporting his latest effort Madam Owl which
was released last August on the Kill
Rock Stars record label. MINMAE head out
for a west coast stint this March. See

to Germany and Spain in March and April to support his new solo release from Snowstorm Music. SOUTHERLY heads back
to Europe this
spring to support the release of Storyteller and the Gossip Columnist
which hits record shelves throughout Europe and the UK on March 20th. More info to come. SYSTEM AND STATION will be playing two local shows in Portland including a February 13th
show at Slabtown and a March 8th show
at the Doug Fir Lounge
with Omaha natives Little Brazil and Ladyfinger. ---------- FALL has arrived in
Portland! It has been wonderfully
temperate and fairly sunny thus far.
Fall is my favorite season, sweater weather, the smell of the season
as the leaves turn and the comfortable chill in the air. A fantastic time! But don’t let yourself focus on the fact
that it’s going to rain for the next eight months, just enjoy the season. JEFF HANSON (Kill Rock Stars), KRIST KRUEGER (of SOUTHERLY) and NOTES TO
MYSELF (Malaga, Spain) all hit the North American interstate this September.
JEFF HANSON is supporting his latest effort titled Madam Owl available as of
August 17th via the Kill Rock Stars record label. KRIST KRUEGER (of SOUTHERLY) has as of ’08 started touring solo under his own name
since the inception of SOUTHERLY as a full band. He supported Jeff Hanson on this latest
tour of the Western States through California, Southwest and the great Rocky
Mountain States. NOTES TO MYSELF from Malaga, Spain have just completed their first ever tour of the
States! They’ve just returned home and
are preparing for their upcoming Japanese tour. EUROPE ’09 sees multiple Crow artists making appearances including SOUTHERLY and
Jeff Hanson. In March SOUTHERLY heads
overseas for another extensive Euro tour two weeks of which will be packaging
with Jeff Hanson. Keep checking the artists websites for details. KRIST KRUEGER typically has multiple projects in the works. The latest edition to the roster is
ALLELUIA. Currently you can find

KRIST KRUEGER (solo) and KRIST KRUEGER KILLING HIPSTERS (dj). CROW RADIO SHOW starts back up this week. I
have been on tour for the better part of the year but am heading back to the
DJ booth this Thursday from 6-8 PM.
The show airs every week at the same time and can be streamed anywhere

last month with a very successful opening reception. The first featured local Portland, OR
record label Greyday Records with art by Heidi Elise Wirz and Dan Williams
(aka Crack La Rock). This months event features the wonderful Marriage Records! ALL ABOUT BOAT! Wonderful quirky pop group BOAT are raising their sails coasting through on a
short stint down the Columbia and Willamette Rivers. Currently working on their third full
length due out later this year. Check
the tour page for updates. TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES! Yep, robots. JEFF HANSON has just finished recording and mixing Madame Owl, his third full
length for the Kill Rock Stars record label set to be released later in the
year. North American and European
tours will follow in support of it. MINMAE have just
re-released Ya Te Vas and True Love (Greyday Records) in one splendid
package. Both were out of print, originally released by Devil In The
Woods. The band is heading out this
March and April in support of that release and a brand new EP on beautifull
12" vinyl. Only 300 copies have
been made. Get yours while you can! SOUTHERLY hits the
road next month, making it down to Austin, TX for SXSW. There are a couple of day parties scheduled
throughout the festival. Then later in
the month the band will join Headlights and Evangelicals for their Northwest
dates hitting Portland, Seattle and Missoula. SYSTEM AND STATION have recently completed A Nation Of Actors, the new album to be
delivered via Latest Flame Records this August. This is truly the bands most ambitious work
to date. A definite must hear! CROW RADIO SHOW airs every Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM PST on the Portland
